Adeyanju gave the warning in a post shared on X, where he argued that the current economic hardship makes it difficult for individuals to rely on others to meet their financial obligations.
He said men should be cautious about taking on additional financial responsibilities in relationships, especially when their partners are unemployed but maintain expensive lifestyles.
“If the devil wants to punish you as a man, he will give you a jobless Nigerian babe with high taste,” Adeyanju wrote.
The activist noted that the country’s economic situation was already putting pressure on individuals and households.
“With the extremely bad economic situation of Nigeria, no one should be relying on another person to pay their bills,” he added.
Adeyanju further advised men against taking on what he described as additional financial liabilities, saying the economic conditions were already difficult enough.
“The country is too hard for you to add a liability to the list,” he said.
